Healing Resources
Bibliotherapy for Women, Parents, and Online Maternal Health Resources
For many people, starting therapy can be a daunting task both financially and emotionally, which is why I have pulled together resources for women, parents, or anyone wanting to learn more. I believe whole-heartedly that, Self-inquiry, does not have to cost a fortune, nor should it be out of anyone’s reach. The books/websites layed out here have deeply affected me on my journey as a mother, a parent, a therapist, and most of all a human being. When I begin working with a new client, I will acknowledge that “by showing up today… that is enough” as well as “you can begin anywhere, therapy is not linear”. So dive in with a resource, order a book, or go to your local library and remember that getting started, is enough.

Santa Barbara Postpartum Education for Parents (PEP)
New parent discussion groups in-person for anyone in Goleta, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria, Summerland. I joined a new parent group as a first time mom and it was a solidifying force for me. It got me out of the house (which can feel like a monumental task with a infant) and I was met with such warmth, support, and a community of humans who understood what I was going through.
